Our website www.birdhousepress.co.uk collects information on you, our customer, in two ways:
1. The information you manually provide to us when you make a purchase from our shop, fill out our contact form or sign up to our email newsletter. This information can be tied directly to you because it may contact your name, email address etc.
2. The information that is collected by our third party partners. These partners are Google Analytics, Paypal, Stripe, MailChimp & Facebook.
We have chosen to work with these companies because they are industry leaders in their fields.
We use Paypal & Stripe (for credit card payments) so that we can securely take payments without storing your financial details on our website.
Sometimes we receive information for our third party partners that is linked directly to you. An example of this is when a customer pays for an order using Paypal, we do not receive any credit card information, this remains safely stored within Paypal, but we do receive the information we need to fulfill your order, like your name & address.
We do not pass this information on to anybody else, and will only contact you with information about your order, for example to let you know your order has shipped.
By providing us with your data, you warrant to us that you are over 13 years of age.
Fulfilling your order
In order to deliver your order we use the Royal Mail Postal Service, your delivery address with be shared with them to enable us to fulfill your order.
When shipping to the United States – we use Transglobal Express as a shipping agent. You can read their Privacy Statement here.
We will not send marketing emails to you unless you have given us your express permission to do so by signing up to our email newsletter.
When you do choose to sign up to my email list you will only ever receive emails from Bird House Press, and each email you receive will contain a very clear option to unsubscribe at the bottom. You can also email me at any time and I will delete your email address from my list.
Bird House Press will store your email address using a secure third party partner – MailChimp, who are a industry leader for email management. Your details will not be shared with anyone else and will certainly never be sold or traded with other companies.

When you ask a question using our contact form, your informaion will only be used to reply to your question, you will not receive any marketing or offers from Bird House Press, unless you have signed up to our email newsletter.
Signing up to Subscription Boxes
Thank you so much for signing up to a Bird House Press subscription box!
When you sign up you will only receive emails about your order. This will be an email notification when your box has been shipped, and emails about any changes or updates to your Subscription Box. You may occasionally receive an email if there is a problem with your order, for example your address is incomplete. You will not receive any marketing or offers from Bird House Press, unless you have signed up to our email newsletter.
We protect your information by having SSL security installed on our website.
That’s the padlock you can see next to out web address and by taking payments through Paypal & Stripe we never store your credit card number on our website.

We don’t collect any Sensitive Data about you. Sensitive data includes things like your race or ethnicity, religious, political opinions and information about your health.
Where we are required to collect personal data by law, or under the terms of the contract between us and you do not provide us with that data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract (for example, we cannot deliver your order without your address). If you don’t provide us with the requested data, we may have to cancel a product or service you have ordered but if we do, we will notify you at the time.
